Sen. Akbari Continues Covid-19 Town Hall Series with Focus on Local Resources

Mayor Strickland will join meeting Thursday

MEMPHIS — Sen. Raumesh Akbari is inviting Memphians to discuss Covid-19 topics with local leaders a second week.

On Thursday, Sen. Akbari’s Covid-19 Town Hall Series will feature Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland.

“I believe people deserve to have their voices and concerns heard,” Sen. Akbari said. “And it’s just as important for policymakers and leaders to listen.”
